The M-65 Field Coat from Buzz Rickson’s is a faithful reproduction of the iconic U.S. Army jacket introduced in the early 1960s. Widely regarded as the definitive field jacket, the M-65 built upon earlier models like the M-43 and M-51 with a focus on improved functionality and durability in the field.

Constructed from heavy cotton back satin, the outer fabric offers both toughness and a soft, broken-in feel over time. The design stays true to the original military specifications, featuring a stand collar with a concealed hood, adjustable Velcro cuffs with protective flaps, and a drawstring waist for a customizable fit and added insulation.

Functional details include a Crown aluminum spring automatic locking zipper at the front, reinforced with Mil-Spec brass snap buttons, and a durable lining made from a cotton warp and nylon weft blend for added strength and comfort.
