Western Overshirt- Indigo Sashiko
Sashiko, in our opinion, is one of the most unique fabrics available to us on the modern market. Steeped in rich tradition that dates back centuries, this fabric in todays world varies from hand worked decorative embroidery, to the machine milled jacquard fabric that we chose for this piece. With a significant depth of texture and dripping with indigo, this 13oz material has some insane fade potential. We opted for a boxy yet tapered cut intended for ease of layering, but can very easily be styled on its own or thrown over a tee. For this piece, we also decided to eliminate the standard front yokes of a western while maintaining the western style pockets as well as the branded snaps.
