EXTRA HEAVY FLANNEL SHIRT-Blue
UES offers one pattern of extra heavy flannel that looks like a wool outerwear, even though it is 100% cotton. The yarn-dyed check shirt, which weighs over 15 ounces of fabric, has a larger check pattern, making it look more like outerwear. The hem of the shirt has piping, so it is meant to be worn out of the pants.
Because it is woven using a power loom, the SELVAGE of the fabric can be seen on the flap on the left front edge of the front body. Even in Japan, which has a reputation for fabrics with selvedges, there are only a few shuttle looms that can weave fabrics this thick, making this a very rare product. The buttons are made of natural material carved from buffalo horn. Although it is not very resistant to aging, UES chose it with emphasis on its color and texture.
